L.P.V. Caldaie S.r.l. - FOOD PROCESSING MACHINES
LPV Caldaie was established in 1988, specializing in the production of pressure equipment. Over the years, it has gained a strong presence in the international market by focusing on two main product lines: industrial boilers and food processing machines.
The main product range focuses on food processing machines:
- Sterilization Autoclaves: Designed for spray and steam operation, featuring air counter-pressure cooling. These are ideal for processing products in glass jars, pouches, or trays. Maximum working conditions: 139°C and 2.5 bar. Autoclaves are equipped with easy-access software for remote monitoring and parameter adjustments and are ready for Industry 4.0 integration. Maximum operating conditions: 139°C – 2.5 bar.
- Cooking Kettles: Flat-bottom cookers with steam jacket heating, equipped with stirrers that have scraping paddles made from food-grade polymer. Available in both fixed and tilting versions.
- Pasteurization Tanks: Built from AISI 304 stainless steel with a horizontal base, these tanks operate using spray heating via nozzles positioned inside the cylinder and feature automatic water injection cooling. Maximum working conditions: 80°C at atmospheric pressure.
Our industrial boiler range primarily includes three types:
• CF Series: Steam generators with mechanical circulation, where water is pushed through the heating tubes by a piston pump. These are three-pass smoke generators, with countercurrent heat exchange between flue gas and water, ensuring high efficiency. For the CF series, users can request exemption from licensed operation as per the provisions in the annex to DM n.94 of 07/08/2020. Available in both standard carbon steel and special stainless-steel versions for producing "clean steam". Production range: 145 – 3,000 kg/h @ 11.76 bar.
• GV Series: Water tube steam generators featuring a wet and removable tube bundle (patented system) that allows for both mechanical and chemical cleaning. Exempt from licensed operation and compliant with the P.E.D. Directive 2014/68/EU, they are excluded from initial setup inspections and periodic checks as per Decree n°329 of 1/12/04. Production range: 45 – 250 kg/h @ 5 bar.
• GVE Series: Steam generators heated via immersed electric resistances. According to current regulations, this type of steam generator does not require a dedicated technical room. Compliant with the P.E.D. Directive 2014/68/EU and exempt from licensed operation upon request. Production range: 30 – 172 kg/h @ 11.76 bar.
Our range is completed by: smoke tube steam generators, hot water boilers, and steam superheaters.
